NYBG Celebrates Monet

On July 19, enjoy a cocktail while viewing Monet's Garden, then relax on the Conservatory Lawn for a live concert. Light picnic fare, beer, wine, and other refreshments will be available for purchase. Visitors are invited to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets (seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis). Diptyque, world-renowned purveyors of fragrance and scented candles, will be "scenting" the evening and providing complimentary samples. (Want a chance to win elegant diptyque candles? About Monet's Garden Now–October 21
This stunning tribute to French Impressionist Claude Monet showcases a seasonally changing interpretation of the garden that inspired his art. In addition, two rarely seen paintings by the artist will be on view, and films, concerts, poetry readings, and hands-on art for kids will provide rich insight into the life and work of this renowned master.
