Why aren't these individuals smiling and which one of these politicians has gained your trust?

Is this mayors race a battle of wealthy candidates, famous celebrities, or is it a political zoo, a civic carnival, or an honest to goodness important election?

Superstar athletes, iconic entertainers, and assorted pop culture from time to time have lent star power to their favorite politicians since the roaring 20's, when singer and comedian Al Jolson wrote a campaign song for Republican nominee Warren Harding and ushered dozens of theater performers to a rally at Harding’s Ohio home. Later, show business would pave the path for several stars to win office themselves, most prominently President Ronald Reagan.
