Winter may be stubbornly hanging in there, but believe it or not, Spring has sprung and Summer is right around the corner. Do you have a desire to write those cold wrongs?
We've decided to host a writing group on our blog... As with any writing group, the goal here is to use mild social pressure to help our writing process along. All we need is a blog. CITY IMAGES.
We're asking all participants to introduce themselves, and to lay out what they enjoy writing about and what they hope to get accomplished? Write below, or e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org
Whether our writing group attracts 5 or 50, weekly goal-setting and reporting is a great way to keep ourselves on track toward our goals. Not only that, you'll have a record of the work we;ve accomplished along the way.
When setting our goals, be specific and realistic. Instead of saying, “I’m going to write every day,” let us know how long or how much you’re going to write, on which days. Are you going to write two hours each day? Three articles per week? Let us know! The more specific we are with our goals, the more likely to get it done.
Just make sure that goals are realistic, or er’re likely to get disappointed and burn out.
All completed articles will also appear on DOSE OF NEWS * www.doseofnews.com
