POTUS Bloody Hell

Submitted by ub on

Congress needs to investigate why Trump agreed to give a green light to Erdogan against his advisers recommendations. Did POTUS give Putin an early holiday gift? What did Trump get in exchange for handing Turkey that territory? Most agree this one’s a political train wreck and a human blood bath waiting to happen.

Who asked for Trump to pull out... Not the Defense or the State Department, nor the foreign policy establishment or the American people. Not Republicans or Democrats? Was it Erdogan and Putin?

Has Trump sided with more authoritarian leaders over our allies and the interests of the #USA? Is the betrayal of the Kurds another breach of his oath of office?

POTUS military withdrawal from Syria gets condemnation from Democrats and Republicans. His supporters are criticizing a decision to clear the way for a Turkish military invasion near Syria's border sweeping away USA.-backed Kurdish forces.

If 10K ISIS fighters are released by Turkey’s imminent attack on the Kurds as a predictable result of a #USA pullout, POTUS will have given “aid and comfort” to an enemy with whom we are at war under the AUMF. Article III of the Constitution.

Longtime Trump defender Lindsey Graham says Trump’s decision “shortsighted and irresponsible” and “unnerving to its core.”
Senator Graham, Marco Rubio, and Nikki Haley denounced the decision to allow Turkey to fight U.S.-allied Kurds. Haley says President Trump's Syria decision means leaving US allies "to die" “We must always have the backs of our allies, if we expect them to have our back. The Kurds were instrumental in our successful fight against ISIS in Syria. Leaving them to die is a big mistake.“ #TurkeyIsNotOurFriend https://cnn.it/2VpG24e
