RACISM FACTS

Who spent the first half of his life preventing minorities the right to rent apartments in his family properties. Hint, he has devoted the past years preventing minorities from receiving equal justice, civil, and human rights, or voting?

Racism is the belief that different people possess distinct characteristics, abilities, or qualities, especially so as to distinguish them as inferior or superior to one another.

if we adopt the terms African-American, Asian-American, Latin-American, then why not European-Americans for WASPS?

Difficult conversations about persistent racism are now happening every day, in communities throughout the nation, and across the world.

Any prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against an individual group on the basis of their membership of a particular race or ethnicity typically one that is a minority or marginalized.

Racism doesn’t look just like a chokehold, or a knee on the neck. The demonstrations are symbolic of fires that have smoldered for too long. Racial capitalism produces racial disparities in wealth, income, job opportunities, education, and health care.

Many of the most prestigious institutions of higher education have profited from their involvement in the system of slavery and the continued exploitation of minority labor. Until we step out of our comfort zone and consider alternative ideas, we won’t understand what we know or why we believe certain theories. We need to look beyond our own interests and consider others.

Racism is unfortunately taught and these lessons must be immediately eliminated if we are to serve Earth as HUMANITY.
