Guilty of Mrrder

Amber Guyger was found guilty and has been sentenced to 10 years in prison. After five hours of deliberation, a jury found former Dallas police officer Amber Guyger guilty of murder in the shooting death of Botham Jean. https://youtu.be/N_LEJj8X_RQ

Officer Guyger had testified she mistakenly entered Jean’s apartment, thinking it was her own and Jean was an intruder. The jury had a choice of murder, manslaughter or acquittal and in a controversial decision by the judge could have given Guyger leniency on the basis of the “Castle Doctrine,” the state law which says she could respond to a threat with deadly force if she reasonably believed she was in her own home. https://youtu.be/3OnHJgRtI04

Even as she realized her mistake, she never once tried to comfort him in those last moments. She was more worried, it seems, about her own life than the one slipping away before her eyes."
