The Bronx will finally get its own restaurant week, Savor the Bronx, starts Nov. 1.
The deal varies at restaurants, ranging from a 3-course $14.99 dinner menu at the Hard Rock Cafe at Yankee Stadium to $11.99 lunch at the Ice House Cafe.
“Our inaugural ’Savor the Bronx!’ restaurant week event is the ideal time to try a new restaurant or return to a favorite,” Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. said last week when announcing the event . “Enjoy authentic Italian food on Arthur Avenue or some fresh seafood on City Island, or just take a look at the ‘Savor the Bronx!’ website for participating restaurants and make your own great choice.”
Bronx restaurant week will run from Nov. 1 through 13. Saturdays are included with all restaurants except Applebees, a Bronx Tourism Council spokeswoman told NewYorkology.
Update as of Oct. 30: In the month since the Bronx restaurant week was announced, many more locations have signed on, including zero otto nove, Bistro SK and the Flamboyan Bar & Restaurant. See the Savor the Bronx website for the most current list.
