Stalemate vs Standoff

Submitted by ub on

Call it whatever you wish, but words and actions matter and #Trump is ripping the #USA apart, just like #Russia wants it.

A stalemate is a situation in the game where the player whose turn it is to move is not in check but has no move. a standoff is a deadlock between two equally matched opponents in a dispute or conflict.

Who once wrongfully claimed, I alone can fix it? It turns out he really can't, or won't. You break it, you fix it. A favorite responsive philosophy is also known as Apology of Action. This encourages students to not only apologize through words but through actions. After all, isn’t that a LIFE SKILL as well? There are MANY mistakes and situations in life where we might cause harm to others, and “I’m sorry” simply isn’t enough to fix the mistake.

Now Donald J. Trump wants to sell his two-month-old government shutdown, which he once proudly owned.

This is not a standoff or a stalemate between the #GOP and the #Democratic to compromise, #POTUS demands #USA taxpayers pay billions for a wall he said #Mexico would fund.

#USHouseofRepresentatives House Speaker Nancy Pelosi voted to reopen the USA.gov with no strings attached.

Didn’t #Republicans impeach #Clinton for having #sex with one #American and lying about it? So why don’t #Democrats #impeach #Trump for screwing 800K Americans and lying about it?
