He was a German composer-pianist who was notable at work for a long list of masterpiece compositions. Ludwig van Beethoven was the eldest surviving child of Johann and Maria Magdalena van Beethoven. The family was Flemish in origin and can be traced back to Malines. It was his grandfather who had first settled in Bonn when he became a singer in the choir of the archbishop-elector of Cologne; he eventually rose to symphonic   

This Cuban bandleader, pianist, composer, and master arranger popularized the mambo in the 1950s. His big band adaptation of the Danzón-Mambo proved to be a worldwide success with hits such as "Mambo No. 5", earning him the nickname "King of the Mambo".  Dámaso Pérez Prado
