THE BEATLES 2.3

Calling Beatle maniacs and music fans of all ages. What if the sons of John, George, Paul, and Ringo record at Abbey Road Studio?

Could there be an extension of The Beatles 2.3, a new band including the Fab Four or five sons, who are grown-up and independent music producers?

The Beatles' major motion picture, A Hard Day's Night, had sequences designed to highlight certain songs, but the Fab Four wanted to push the idea of art and marketing even further and filmed their performance clips for "Day Tripper" and "We Can Work It Out."

John, Paul, George, and Ringo would go on to film several more. Still, these standalone, audience-free film experiments centered around new songs predicted the music video era, proving another reason why they were ahead of their time.

Drummer Zak Starkey, son of Ringo Starr paradiddles the idea of a supergroup forming with other children of The Beatles, including John Lennon’s son Sean Lennon and George Harrison’s son Dhani Harrison. Starkey’s responses came after he posted an image of himself hanging out with Sean Lennon this year and fans began proposing the supergroup idea. The superstar group could be augmented by the addition of Paul McCartney‘s son James and John’s older son Julian Lennon and George Martin’s son as executive producer.

A ground zero from which contemporary rock and pop culture emerged, The Beatles did a few things better than their peers and even did a few things no one had yet conceived of. Thus, let's consider the ways The Beatles changed the world.

They would, could, and should then be called The Fab Five. The questions to be asked are could it ever happen and will they be as good together as their old men were once upon a time or when they reach the ripe old age of 64?
