UNITY Seriously?

POTUS is expected to call for unity in his attempt at reset after two years of partisanship deep divide and personal attacks. #SOTU will come with a large serving of partisan divide which could lead to another government shutdown or to an emergency declaration over the #Mexico border, but what about the #Canada northern border? Politically wounded from his federal shutdown, #Trump may face an uphill battle with his agenda.

Will Americans, or the rest of the world buy this White House attempt at turning a new leaf? We’ll have to wait and see, Mr. T.

All sides of the aisle may feel varying degrees of skepticism once Trump enters what could be a milder gentler presidential address or a Chamber of horrors for tonight’s prime-time speech to face a nation of friends and foes alike.

Democrats may be ready for payback following the outcome of those midterm elections and the federal government shutdown.

So far, there is very little evidence the president willing to negotiate or make political compromises because the necessary bipartisan rhetoric is usually followed by terror Tweets and perilous POTUS policies.

Will the young politicians, many of whom are women and people of color, and who won seats in Congress during the 2018 midterm elections buy Trump's new and improved reset message?

These progressive leaders include US Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of NYC who is a member of that trend. This 29-year-old Latina democratic socialist channeled popular rage triggered by Donald Trump’s presidency to defeat a long established white male leader of the Democratic Party machine. @AOC is the youngest woman to ever serve in #Congress and stands with a resurgent progressive movement, and winning elections on pledges of universal health care, a federal jobs guarantee, and criminal justice reform.
