US MARSHAL ARREST MAN IN THE BRONX

Nygee Taylor, a 25-year-old man, wanted by the Pennsylvania State Police for attempted homicide, kidnapping and criminal attempt homicide and other related charges was arrested in The Bronx.

U.S. Marshals and Task Force Officers assigned to the New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested Taylor in the Adams Housing Projects. Taylor was turned over to local authorities pending extradition to Pennsylvania.

It is alleged that on October 5, 2014 Taylor played a role in the vicious attack on a female. The victim was kidnapped, beaten, had her throat slit and left for dead in a wooded area in Luzerne County. On June 2, an arrest warrant was issued in Luzerne County by Magisterial District Judge Michael G. Dotzel, charging Taylor with criminal attempt – criminal homicide, conspiracy – criminal homicide, aggravated assault, conspiracy – aggravated assault, kidnapping to inflict injury, unlawful restraint/serious bodily injury, false imprisonment, simple assault and recklessly endangering another person.

The USMS worked jointly in this investigation with personnel from the Pennsylvania State Police, Scranton Police Department, and members of the New York/New Jersey Fugitive Task Force.
