US VAMPIRES

These poly-ticks, modern day vampires are many wealthy longevity fanatics and some figures in the “trans-humanist” scene especially in Silicon Valley. There are a few. linked to interest in “young blood” transfusions

The science behind it comes from “hetero-chronic parabiosis” experiments in mice, where old and young animals were surgically connected so they shared circulation. Some studies showed tissue regeneration effects in older mice, which sparked intense interest in longevity research.

But an important distinction:

The dramatic mouse experiments don’t mean that transfusing blood from teenagers into older humans reverses aging.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration warned in 2019 that young-plasma infusions had “no proven clinical benefit” for aging and could carry risks.

So the short answer is: a small number of wealthy anti-aging enthusiasts, biotech startups, and longevity-focused investors explored or purchased these treatments, but scientific evidence in humans is weak and controversial.
