Weiner Seeks Leave of Absence

However, his Congressional colleagues just want him to leave and leading Democrats have now called on Weiner to resign, while he only says he'll take a leave of absence from Congress and enter a treatment program.

The weekend began with a major blow to Weiner's chances for survival, as House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, Democratic National Committee chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Rep. Steve Israel, chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, all issued statements urging Weiner to leave Congress.

It's unclear which type of therapy Weiner is searching for, but Democrats hinted it's not enough to overcome the scandal and urged him to just get out.
