How Joe Biden Beat Him Badly

POTUS Mr. Rogers type laid-back style helped Joe Biden win the White House but it may now be the time for a brand new approach.

We know Trump will lie, cheat, steal, and be ridiculed just for his unrelenting obsession to be the center of attention.

Trump lost and was clearly defeated, after being impeached twice and becoming one of four incumbents in modern memory not to win re-election. Also, he becomes the first president to lose the popular vote in consecutive elections.

He won the presidency in 2016 partly because he was a norm-busting political outsider who was prepared to say what had not been said but his actions did not match his statements.

He then did what he has all too often done in the past, play golf and destroy his projects, but this time he sold out America for his personal profit to conservatives, to big business, and to Communism.

Within the first 24 hours of his presidency, he delivered his American Carnage speech and portrayed the USA  as a dystopia of shuttered factories, left-behind workers and wealth ripped from middle-class homes. He then began his long liar routine ranting about the crowd size and his Twitter rants. By sundown of his first full day in charge, it had become clear The Donald would try to change the presidency more than it was going to change him.

Was it more cumulative, the snowball effect of his many scandals, multiple slurs, tremendous turnover of his so-called best people, and way too much chaos?

Voters were put off by his aggressiveness. His stoking of racial tensions. His use of racist language in tweets maligning people of color. His failure to adequately condemn white supremacy. His trashing of America's traditional allies and his admiration for authoritarian strongmen, like North Korea, Russia, and The Taliban.

His outrageous claims are that he is a very stable genius. his promotion of conspiracy theories and comments made him more like a crime boss than a public servant.

Following four failed years, Intelligent voters wanted a President in the White House who would behave in a conventional manner. They were tired of Trump’s infantile name-calling, his ugly language, and the ceaseless confrontations. They wanted a return to normalcy.

But he clearly lost the 2020 election because as the incumbent, he had a record to defend, including his mishandling of a coronavirus outbreak that was unnecessarily killing Americans. The Republicans giving tax breaks for the rich also hurt the GOP.

The Democrat centrist Joe Biden was clearly elected with the support of white working-class voters in the Rust Belt. The Republicans are sore losers and have not accepted their defeat, but are now practicing dirt politics.

His approval rating is still at 50 percent higher than the former guy ever had. Following a chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan and a raging resurgence of the Delta variant of Covid-19. These are not good figures for an incumbent heading into a midterm election year. But it's not disastrous given the stark divides within our nation. And it suggests that POTUS has political juices left to build support for plans that will define his legacy.

it is now time to fight back The Big Lie about Republicans losing bid for the White House and the GOP are being told not to vote in 2022 or 2024. Therefore, if The Democrats have the burning desire to keep our young Republic intact they should continue to serve all Americans.

If the GOP is successful in stealing the next election. we can kiss goodbye to the prospect of ever again electing someone committed to self-government, the rule of law, equal justice for all, and basic human rights. The American experiment will then be on life support.

JFK "The ignorance of one voter in a democracy impairs the security of all."

POTUS President Biden: "Attacks on truth are still a harbinger of tyranny. Nothing in our democracy is assured ... nothing about our freedom is guaranteed. We have to work for it."
