Let the games begin. The 2018 Winter Olympics got underway in South Korea, as the action began last night with figure skating and curling, but the opening ceremonies kicked off this morning at 6A.

US Vice President Pence, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un’s sister, Kim Yo Jong, attended. Athletes from the two Koreas march together under one flag and the cheating Russians entered #OpeningCeremony under a significant cloud related to doping concerns during the parade of nations alongside competitors from over 90 countries.

Erin Hamlin, a four-time Olympian luger carried Team USA’s flag at the parade. The ceremony is broadcast live, but repeats at 8P, with commentary from hosts Katie Couric and Mike Tirico.
