WHO: The Holiday Marathons is hosting a free trail race for approximately 500 runners, hikers, and walkers of all levels. We encourage all to wear Halloween costumes as well!
WHAT: FREE Trail Runs in Van Cortland Park (Bronx, NY) on October 30th for Any Skill Level; the Best Way to Spend the Holiday! FREE Candy Apples to ALL! Free bananas, oranges and coconut water!!

WHY: Why not have a great excuse to run on every major holiday of the year -- and for FREE! All races are FREE and all skill levels are welcome; fun should be had by all!
HOW: People interested in participating can preregister at www.thehalloweenmarathon.com and then just show up on race day to run any of the distances offered.
MORE: Since we started staging these community supported races last Thanksgiving, our mission has been to bring together our local running community and promote exercise, nature and healthier habits. Rather than charging large fees to enter races, we want our events to pay for themselves on a donation based system.
