Guillermo Álvarez Guedes was a famous friend, actor, comic, and movie star. For several reasons, his name always makes me smile.

He was one of the best Cuban humorists of all time. More than a comedian, he was the analyst or psychologist of the Cuban mentality.

We both moved to the NE to get away from the crazy Miami mob and ended up hating the snow, the violence, landfills, and everything that happens in the colder northern United States. Therefore, he finally, returned to South Florida.

Like my family, many Cubanos escaped from Castro’s Communism and while living in Miami, failed to think rationally. Donald Trump and his MAGA cult have aligned themselves with Putin and Kim. How did they allow this to happen?

GAG was a Cuban comedian, actor, writer, and businessman. He was better known across Latin America as Álvarez Guedes. I first met Guillermo while searching for a Spanish-language commentary on the week's news. and with today's current state of affairs and the news events, I figure we could all use a good laugh,

I recall GAG commenting on the difficulty of learning the English language.
