POISONOUS TOXICITY

Sure, most Americans are supposed to be smart. But They Could Have Been Smarter. Exposure to toxics probably lowered I.Q. levels,

Scientific research is finding this might be the next case of USA widespread food and industrial pollution.

Toxics are poisonous substances that can cause serious illness or death. Some examples of toxic substances include: 

  • Chemicals released from landfills: A toxic substance that can be released into the environment 
  • Arsenic: A naturally occurring element that can be found in pesticides, wood preservatives, and car batteries 
  • Dioxins: A persistent organic pollutant (POP) that can cause cancer, damage the immune system, and interfere with hormones 
  • Radon: A toxic substance that can be found in basements 
  • Lead: A toxic substance that can be found in drinking water 
  • Exhausts from cars: A toxic substance that can be released into the air 

Other toxic substances include: 

  • Asbestos
  • Formaldehyde
  • Mercury
  • Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS)
  • Pesticide Chemicals
  • Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs)
