Meanwhile with the new Hurricane season, the GOP destruction of #NOAA and #FEMA may be the notch in the weapons that create a reckoning in Red States that border the Atlantic and Gulf subject to hurricanes and other destructive forces of nature.
This is a horrible consequence for people and the United States, but the incompetence and openly hostile actions of the Republican administration against science and all things scientific that represent the advance of our knowledge is a willful destructive act that has consequences. I hate to see it happen, but the hurricane season this year may have consequences beyond any we have ever seen because preparedness and restoration have been destroyed by their incompetence!
