Springtime in NYC is always magical place to be, but perhaps more now than ever after the coldest, sludgiest winter in decades.
April showers continue rejuvenating eager flower buds while the warmer weather invites them to bloom. The colorful cherry blossoms and magnolias inspire awe and wonder as passersby stop to take in the ephemeral moment.
The flower buds were getting really large, and we all began to see a sliver of colors. Then, in the afternoon, they started blooming.

Pelham Bay Park in the Bronx features several cherry trees that bloom in the spring, with a notable concentration of Yoshino cherry trees located near the City Island Bridge. While a specific total number of trees is not officially listed, it is identified as a key spot for viewing in the Bronx, particularly near nature trails.
