Russian film director Anna Tits, who was working on a movie about Russian soldiers, drowned, according to Russian state media.
The 52-year-old director had traveled to South Ossetia with a film crew to work on the movie “On the Path to Truth and Justice,” about Russia’s war against Ukraine.
On May 21, she ‘fell from a suspension bridge’ into the Great Liakhvi River during a walk. The incident occurred one day after the presentation of her film.
Rescue teams searched for Tits for three days before finding her body about 35 kilometers (22 miles) from where she fell.
