🇺🇦 UKRAINE — MASSIVE DRONE ATTACK ON MOSCOW
Ukraine launched more than 1,000 drones at targets across Russia, including hundreds aimed at Moscow, according to Russian officials and AP reporting.
Moscow authorities reported damage to an oil refinery and a residential building and said two people were killed and 20 injured in the Moscow region. AFP reports Russian authorities said more than 1,600 drones had been intercepted since Saturday, including about 450 directed at Moscow. AP News
The attack came as Russia's three-day parliamentary election was ending.
🇮🇷🇺🇸 MIDDLE EAST — U.S. AND IRAN TRADE THREATS
Tensions between Washington and Tehran intensified Sunday after Houthi attacks connected to the wider conflict.
Reuters reports Trump threatened Iran with severe economic consequences or the destruction of its leadership while also saying he would be open to meeting Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian during the UN gathering. Iran's military warned of retaliation against further attacks. Reuters

AFP reports Saudi Arabia's military coalition said the Houthis fired a ballistic missile toward Riyadh, while a fire was reported at a fuel facility near King Khalid International Airport.
The fighting has displaced more than 112,000 people, according to the UN figures cited by AFP. AFP

North Korea launched two short-range ballistic missiles toward the sea Sunday, according to South Korea's military.
