No Fatties, Beardos or Weirdos?

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth says the military should have “no fatties, no trannies, no beardos, no weirdos, no wimps, no radicals. Just warriors.” He delivered that message at his September 30, 2026, State of the Force address at Quantico. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2026/sep/30/hegseth-military-personnel-cuts

But who decides who qualifies as a warrior, and do the same rules apply to everyone inside the Pentagon?

Hegseth's announcement that Elon Musk, Anduril founder Palmer Luckey and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich would help shape the future of warfare raises questions about access, influence and accountability. Why must ordinary service members meet strict standards while influential outsiders receive invitations to help chart the military's future? https://firearmsforever.org/defense/hegseth-doctrine-says-no-fatties-beardos-or-weirdos-except-vips/

Jesus reportedly had a beard. Trump ain't no spring chicken, either. Yet the president who talks tough sometimes seems to chicken out when a decision gets uncomfortable.

No fatties, beardos or weirdos? Perhaps the Pentagon should start by applying one standard to everyone: accountability, competence and service to the country.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth wants a military without “fatties,” "trannies," “beardos” or “weirdos.”

But questions about whether he and DOD practice what they preach can be linked to the Pentagon’s celebrity visitors and favored contractors...No Fatties, Beardos or Weirdos?

Jesus reportedly had a bard and Trump ain't no spring chicken either. However, he dos chicken out.

The visual concept is ready. The next step is turning this storyboard into a timed music video using Edwin Starr’s original recording, with the images and lyrics synchronized to the song.

I’d structure the finished video in three acts:

  1. The cost of war: young soldiers, shattered dreams, wounded veterans and grieving families.

  2. The question: protest movements, the human consequences of conflict, and the demand for a better way.

  3. The alternative: peace, love, understanding, and a hopeful future for the next generation.

I can help develop the storyboard, captions, and editing timeline. The generated visual is a storyboard concept, not a finished, synchronized video with audio. The original recording would need to be added through an appropriately licensed source.
