City Island, NY is a neighborhood that time seems to have forgotten. This quirky New York town has been likened to a New England fishing village. Return to another time and explore the rich nautical and revolutionary history of this charming town. The community was once a major boat building and yachting center with four Yacht Clubs and also played a part in early Bronx movie-making.
Depending on the length of our walking tours, these delightful walkabouts include and not limited to:
The Sea Captain's House, Restaurants, Yacht Clubs, Shops; Trading Site for Early Settlers and Native Americans;
City Island Museum, Bartow-Pell Mansion, Split Rock Golf Course, Pelham Bay Park and Orchard Beach;
City Island has to be one of the "coolest" and “best-kept secrets” of New York City. It is where many enjoy fresh and deliciously prepared seafood, as well as outdoor activities like boating, fishing, swimming, galleries and antique shops. City Island is also on Conde Nast Traveler’s list of “101 Islands We Love”.
