Labor Day is now gone, the days are getting shorter, and the summer garden is winding down. City Island Images hopes that your gardens brought you abundant harvests, bountiful colors and fragrances. But its not the end of gardening for the year. Fall brings opportunities for a whole new season of gardening. What were you thinking?

Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. today hosted the borough’s 10th anniversary commemoration of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2011, honoring the 144 Bronx residents who died in that tragedy.
