Do you want to be a journalist, a news star, or a famous celebrity? I've had different students who have said at least one of these.

As you can imagine, it is about reaching the highest ambitions of journalism, producing excellent content and hyperlocal in approach and relevant to the community served.

Some become your reporters become disappointed because they wrongfully think it is an easy job that does not require hard work, difficult decisions, and personal sacrifices.

Sleeping At Work

In Asian nations like Japan, for example, it is very much acceptable to take a nap on the job as long as you put it back.

Can You Get Fired For Falling Asleep At Work? Depending on the circumstances, sleeping on the job could be considered gross misconduct. This means that it could result in disciplinary action such as termination of the contract, depending on the severity of the situation.

Asian American Attacks

California's Asian community is increasingly alarmed by multiple Asian-on-Asian mass shootings, including many deaths.

This hits home hard because my wife and son are both Asian and US citizens who fly like American eagles.

 

'But the shooter was Asian!' That doesn't negate the reality of anti-Asian violence.

It's an instinctive rebuttal to any support being sent to my community as if the shooter also being Asian makes it any less devastating.

GOP HERPES

People with GOP herpes first experience tingling, itching, or burning, then notice sores or blisters forming around their body politics..

These symptoms tend to develop 2–20 days after exposure to the virus which is highly contagious. Some Republicans are spreading it as a form of political revenge. 

Please, know that I have no political affiliation and although I was recruited by the administration of George HW Bush, this is no longer his Grand Old Republican Party.

Everyone loves BJs but not if they run out of eggs. We were on an egg hunt and looked all over the place but scrambled.

CityImages does not know if the entire east coast or the #USA has run low on eggs, but we are issuing this serious shell game warning.

We’re not Yolking. As supermarket journeys continue to be increasingly expensive thanks to the great problem among many others, some folks have taken to hoarding yolks and egg smuggling.
