A historic rock concert surprisingly fell under the radar when Superstars of British Rock Royalty performed in London’s Lyceum Theatre.

It was The Beatles and everyone else. And thet could be great, but The Beatles were leading the way and that’s just the truth and nothin but…

This was more than a half century ago on December 15, 1969 that Lennon, Harrison, Clapton, Preston and Ono took to the stage and made some noise. We have the receipts below.

#CityImages was expecting Twitter to act the way it now is; We warned you long ago. and that is why we have moved on to Mastodon.

Following a half-a-dozen attempts on Mahatma Gandhi's life, beginning 1917 he was shot dead 1/30/1948. It was 5.17 PM in Delhi.

There were plots to poison him, and to assassinate him with a bomb explosion or gunfire. Mahatma Gandhi survived until Nathuram Godse, guided by fanatic passion, pumped bullets in his chest and stomach at Birla temple following his final prayer and meditation.

Gandhi is not only a historical figure. His visionary ideas and values, including his concern for justice and social transformation, continue to resonate today.

And the legal and political hits keep on coming at the former guy who is quickly becoming our nation's biggest loser, bar none.

Former White House attorney Ty Cobb offered a grim prognosis of Trump's legal entanglements. He says The US House Select Committee investigating the Capitol insurrection will ultimately provide a prosecution referral to the U.S. Department of Justice Criminal Division.

The Bronx Riviera

This one has to be filed as I will believe it whenever I actually see it only because I have heard this story way too many times before.

Just after moving to The Bronx in the 1990s to build and launch News 12, I returned to work in NYC long before the millennium. Since then, I began reading and listening to politicians yapping about giving a new facelift to Orchard Beach. This has been going on for four Mayors and some with several terms in office.
