Gas Chambers?

This gas chamber was the largest room in Auschwitz. The space was originally used as a mortuary but was converted in 1941 into a gas chamber where Soviet POWs and Jews were killed.

City Images spoke with jewish Americans voters who are incensed to learn that
Trump made a 'gas chamber' reference while criticizing the news media

WTF? Who could be insensitive and outrageous enough to make such analogy? TRUMP

The Oz Couple

Odd or Oz couple, these truly belong in the land of oz, but without the wizard part. One appears to be fishing for votes and the other for TV ratings, but will either succeed this time?

The Donald's TV chat with Dr. Oz airs Thursday, but little will be revealed about the oldest ever GOP nominee's health. Neither men are considered top experts, according to their colleagues, but that does not prevent a serious discussion of medical records from a supposed physical on TV doctor after Hillary was diagnosed with pneumonia.

FLIP FLOP DON

First says he will then say he won't, just to have the press write more about his camp pain promises that he does not keep. What doe that say about a candidate who continues to renege on all his pledges?

Will he ever pull back that curtain of secrecy and release his health records and #TRUMPTAXES? He now says he will not disclose results of a physical. Why will a fringe of voters blindly visit The Land of Oz, to follow his orange skin and fake yellow hair road?

No Way, Nojay!

The Donald's New York Campaign Co-Chairman may be re-elected to the state assembly. How could Republicans vote for a candidate who killed himself?

WHY UN?

Submitted by ub on

The United Nations is an intergovernmental organization to promote international co-operation,but with more inaction than its worth. As a replacement for the equally ineffective League of Nations, the organization was established on 24 October 1945. UN is also a prefix meaning “not,”which is freely used as a formative, giving negative or opposite force in adjectives and their derivative adverbs and nouns.

Why NOT pull the plug and prevent a slow painful death?

The 1899 City Island Bridge, which has been connecting this slice of NYC paradise with Rodman's Neck on the US mainland is about to have its iconic top come down. Meanwhile, there is an increasing fear of isolation and concern to some residents.

A number of states are holding primaries for local government elections today.

Registered voters in several states are casting their ballots to determine which government candidates will compete in the general election, mostly for local and state office holders.

NY Assemblyman Bill Nojay was up for re-election but we learned that he fatally shot himself over the weekend. If he wins this election, party leaders in the three-county district will be required to nominate another candidate within 10 days.

There is one more rose in Spanish Harlem, where I met up with an old friend and journalist Isolda Peguero, La Periodista, as well as meeting new ones. But if you can, try them this weekend to enjoy fine tapas and delicious botanas, along with an open air ambiance. BE King https://youtu.be/OGd6CdtOqEE

DESPERATE DANGERS

Submitted by ub on

American voters are increasingly frustrated with the choices for president of The United States of America.

From the major candidates, one side has chosen a member of what could be a political dynasty of US presidents, who is secretive and prefers not to confide with the press or the government.

On the other side, we have an egomaniac birther-liars who insults religions, administrators, justices, legislators, and US military but has managed to pull the wool over the eyes of some desperate for change.
