The Journal of Venomous Animals and Toxins including Tropical Diseases is reporting on the case of a pregnant woman, who gave birth to a healthy baby, but was infected with the rabies virus after a fatal dog bite.

The unbelievable story occurred a couple of years ago, but was just reported. The woman's rabies reportedly appeared in labor and she died after pregnancy. Her baby and husband did not develop this deadly disease.

More foreign than policy was how some were describing The Donald's blabbering today. But don't take our word for it, listen up and try to find specifics. Lack of knowledge and sophistication is how others characterized it.

Citizen Lab research partner Open Effect today announced the release of the full report detailing our year-long research collaboration into the privacy and security of wearable fitness tracking devices.

https://openeffect.ca/reports/Every_Step_You_Fake.pdf

All studied fitness trackers except the Apple Watch were vulnerable to Bluetooth MAC address surveillance

Some applications failed to use transit-level security for one or more data transmissions, leaving user data exposed.

Others routinely sent out the user’s precise geolocation for reasons not made obvious to the user.

I am not a good dancer, but I clearly recall watching a film years ago while on a date and still fondly remember that special lady and the message. " You Are Probably Better Than You Think" Opportunities flourish for those who embrace them and there is no one who can make you feel inferior without your consent.

NYC SLASHINGS

Submitted by ub on

Dozens of random slashing incidents have residents of The Big Apple seeing red. NYPD officials are losing the battle with a double digit spike in knife assaults so far this year, blaming copycats, gang initiations and hordes of mentally ill homeless people.

The latest victim was stabbed this morning and the medley includes a 71-year-old grandma riding a D train, a 16-year-old Chinese exchange student walking to school in Queens, and a 30-year-old bus commuter in Brooklyn.

Washed Away?

Our Coast, Our Future is a collaborative, user-driven project focused on providing coastal California resource and land use managers and planners locally relevant, online maps and tools to help understand, visualize, and anticipate vulnerabilities to sea level rise and storms.

The group has mapped what a rise in sea levels would do to the Bay area and it appears the locations of several of the world’s largest and most popular tech companies will wind up underwater because they have been built way too close to the coast.

SMELL OF ENERGY?

Global scientific researchers are suggesting that manure may save the world from destruction, along with other crap humans routinely generate and throw away.

The message is loud and clear. Humans have long been producing a shit load of excrement and we have mistakenly been thinking that this crap is useless.

Feces power alone will not solve the world's energy challenges. But it looks like our European neighbors have woken up and smelled the aroma, realizing there no point letting all that crap go to waste.

The health of our planet may well depend on it.
