We humans, are Easter people living in a Holy Friday world. Prayer is the method by which we can praise and thank God. We pray to God because we need His wisdom, His strength, and His guidance in our lives. We pray for God’s Holy Spirit to enlighten and guide us. We pray for God’s mercy and forgiveness when we make mistakes. We are to “pray without ceasing.”—I Thess. 5:17
