Seasons Greetings from #CityImages. This is the first full week of the most wonderful three months and our favorite time of the year.

And so it begins... The best trimester of the year. Regardless of whether you're using the ancient Aztec Calendar or not.

We enjoy these three months because October's still Hispanic History Month, UB’s birthday, and then followed by Halloween. November is Thanksgiving, a time to enjoy family and friends. December is Christmas, a time when everyone feels special.

Facebook is a worldwide online social media and global networking service owned by Facebook, but I am over and out of there.

The CBS New Program  60 Minutes says Facebook puts profit over safety and amplifies the worst of human nature.

The platform also owns #Instagram and #WhatsApp, to get messaging and calling for free, available on phones all over the world.

What will it take to get West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin to say yes to a sweeping spending package from The Democrats?

Democrats are on the verge of passing the largest-ever investment in our country's families and workers—including paid family leave, child care, and tuition-free community college, as well as essential initiatives to combat the climate crisis. So why would other members of their own party be blocking a final deal?

I first met Ed Bradley while I was a journalism student in graduate school. I interviewed him for my thesis on Minorities in the Media.

In 1976,  Ed Bradley became CBS' first-ever African-American correspondent to the White House. The last time I saw Ed before he died, he was standing on the corner of 66 Street and Broadway. I had finished lecturing my journalism students at NYIT. We spoke briefly, but he never said anything about his leukemia. Ed was friendly each and every time we spoke.

Whether an individual consumer, business owner, community leader, elected or appointed official, if you are still opposed to higher minimum wages then you are just plain STUPID, don't care, and certainly DO NOT understand the engine that drives the US economy.

If you want to be a PARROT, instead of a PATRIOT, go ahead, keep "parroting" those talking points about the devastating effects a higher minimum wage would have on the economy that your political party, chamber of commerce, or other conflicted and the self-serving source is shoving down your throat!

Do you remember when COVID arrived in America in the Spring of 2020 and the former GOP guy and his VP lies it would disappear?

Many public safety first responders representing racial minorities began working on the front lines and advocated for more people who looked similar. It eventually became clear that the global pandemic and deadly virus was hurting certain communities of color much harder than some others.

Happy 97 Birthday Jimmy Carter. As a newsman, I recall covering one of his birthdays while he was POTUS in Disney World, Florida.

He explained why he came to Cinderella’s Castle, saying it was an inspiration for his economic advisors. President Jimmy Carter was born on Oct. 1, 1924, in Plains, Ga., and exemplifies a life of service to America. He served in the U.S. Navy, as a Democratic Georgia State Senator and Governor of Georgia, before being elected in 1976 as the U.S. President.

Everyone knows The Big Apple is the coolest city on Planet Earth, but did you know what is about to happen today in New York City?

New Yorkers will close out the month of September with Autumn leaves dropping and the Fall feeling in the air. After a chilly start in the 40s and 50s, weather forecasters are only expecting temperatures to rebound into the low-to-mid 60s.

It's not just the coolest day in NYC of the entire week, but the coolest air today that we've seen and felt since the month of May.

As that old saying goes, and it certainly applies to all of humanity, this is NOT our first Rodeo, so follow the science and get VAXED.

This list above represents all the vaccines that have saved our lives over the years and why many of us and our families continue to live here on earth.
