For the last few months American consumers been dealing with emergencies both big and small. Our hearts and minds continue racing and bolting from work, to our homes. We were sold the idea of winning and we are not flourishing. This is not what one third of the voters were expecting, while others didn’t vote.
"Ashes to ashes, dust to dust" is a phrase from the Anglican Book of Common Prayer. Originating from Genesis 3:19 (for dust you are and to dust you shall return), it serves as a reminder of mortality and, in Christian theology, is paired with the hope of resurrection. We are writing at the crossroads, searching for a safe shelter while riding out the storm.
