The whole world will be watching Cleveland this week to learn how the 2016 Republican National Convention pole bearers plan to solve our growing national dilemmas, instead of continuing their divisive anti-civil rights record.

As the Republican National Convention gets underway in Cleveland this day, with political stars which may have gone too far, the school yard name calling and the mudslinging should stop to explain how TRUPENCE plans to improve the US.

TRUMPENCE presidential ticket made its debut in an unconventional manner that was awkward and a pairing designed to bring together the Republican Party on the eve of its GOP national convention.

As always, Trump spent more time talking about himself, and about crooked Hillary Clinton, who he has yet fully explained how she differs from him.

I taught journalism at a conservative Indiana university and make no mistake about Pence's conservative credentials, his legislative record and his more than questionable actions as governor.

Pokemon has long been a favorite, especially among the Japanese, who watch a highly rated program on TV Tokyo.

Here in the states, folks re wandering along our sidewalks, glued to their smartphones firmly in their hands. Some may be wearing earphones, seemingly oblivious to the real world around them.

They are Pokémon Go players, and they are on one mission: They’ve gotta catch ‘em all.

Pokemon Go is a fantastic phenomenon since its release and the creatures have been spotted outdoors as well as indoors. In fact, I'm living inside a Pole Stop and believe it or not, my wife recently pulled an octopus from my butt.

New York Drought?

New York State Department of Environmental Conservation has issued a drought watch for the entire state of New York following consultation with the State Drought Management Task Force and Federal partner agencies.

"While most public water supplies are still generally normal throughout the state, below normal precipitation over the last 9 months, low stream flows, and reduced groundwater levels have prompted the need for this action," Commissioner Seggos said. "We are encouraging residents throughout the state to conserve water whenever possible during the coming months."
