Neymar was immediately taken to a local hospital in a tremendous amount of pain and a short time later, Brazil's team doctor confirmed that he will miss the remainder of the World Cup with a fractured vertebrae.
The Bronx Documentary Project is a huge undertaking by The Bronx Artists Collective. July 4th fireworks displays will occur tonight after sunset in the following locations:
Off of Liberty State Park in Jersey City, NJ.
Off of the Coney Island Beach Fishing Pier in Brooklyn.
On the East River for the first time in five years, over 3 million are expected to watch the fireworks show near the Brooklyn Bridge. The East River display will last 40 minutes. To see these fireworks from Brooklyn Bridge Park (F train to York St or A, C to High St), Brooklyn Heights & Brooklyn Promenade (2, 3 to Clark St) or South Street Seaport (A, C to Fulton St)
The National Weather Service has once again issued a severe thunderstorm warning for The Bronx, Manhattan, and Queens.
Flash flood warnings with excessive runoff from heavy rainfall causing flooding of urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses, as well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
Do not drive your vehicle into areas where the water covers the roadway. The water depth may be too great to allow your car to cross safely. Move to higher ground.
Please take necessary precautions as there are serious rainstorms in our forecast, and the potential for severe weather influenced by Hurricane Arthur.

A Bi-State Special Panel on the Future of the Port Authority has provided a report following its initial 60 day review of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, consistent with its charge from Governors Cuomo and Christie.
The report includes an initial review of recent reform efforts, identifies areas for additional reform and review, and details next steps for continuing the Panel’s work over the course of the next six months.

Also, there will not be a fireworks display at the Co-Op City Little League Field in the Bronx because of inclement weather, the fireworks display will be postponed until Saturday, 7/5/14, at approximately 9:00 PM.
We repeat. Due to weather conditions, the Co-op City fireworks show, which was scheduled for tonight has now been postponed.
The display will be held Saturday, July 5 at 9 p.m. at the Co-op City Little League Field, located at 177 Dreiser Loop.
