Joseph Michael Arpaio is a convicted criminal awaiting sentencing as of August 2017. He was the elected Sheriff of Maricopa County, Arizona, from 1993 through 2016.

@POTUS says “I’ll make a prediction: I think he’s going to be just fine.” He traveled Tuesday to Arizona, where he all but promised to pardon disgraced former Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio at some point.
