At least 17 students, teachers, and staff were killed Wednesday afternoon, and more than a dozen wounded, when a young, heavily-armed gunman opened fire at a high school in Broward County, Florida. A student’s text to a mom: “If I don’t make it, I love you.” A beloved coach stepped into the line of fire. A “troubled” suspect expelled from the school.
