GOP Daring Doozies

Submitted by ub on

The Senate Majority Leader Republican Mitch McConnell was once again forced to delay his repeal and replace bill after he finally realized that after all the years of promises he still does not have enough GOP Senators supporting his bill, which was drawn up in secret. There just was not enough votes to advance the legislation past key procedural hurdles.

Dear Mr. President

Dear Mr. President-

Democracy is not a joke. It’s something we must work hard at and are tremendously proud of. We all want it to last, which is why you must treat it accordingly.

It is not just enough to say America first, but you must match your words with actions and represent all Americans. If you put any of us last; it’s a tragic, sad affair.

Our lives are consumed by the logistics of running our households, managing careers and caring for our families. This great nation provides the foundation for everything that we and our forefathers have built together.

What Have You Done For US?

Submitted by ub on

Dear Government-
What have you done for the US lately?
You have a GOP majority in Congress and WH.
There's no romance without healthcare and finance.
Remember that you're as good as your last day in office.
Yours truly,

PS

Filling your pockets with payoffs does not drain the swamp in the US.

Have you ever asked what you can do for your country?

Puttering with Golf balls does nothing for the US.

Playing a blame gets nothing done for the US.

GOP Health Scare Bill?

Submitted by ub on

Not so fast, GOP Senators. Senate Republicans say they will finally share their health care bill today after crafting the bill in secret for some time.

The secret bill has been kept away from some Republicans, all Democrats and independents and a vote could happen as early as next week, according to Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. However, Republicans can’t vote on the bill until the Congressional Budget Office analyzes how many people will be affected by it and how much it will cost.

Is the network responsible for The Coz and The Donald now giving a platform to The Meg, who has publicized to the likes of Vlad and other unsavory characters, does No Body Care? A mistrial was declared for The Coz. Meanwhile, why did @POTUS tell The Russians that former FBI Director Comey was a nutjob? Has he also called Vladimir P, Alex J or Steve B nutjobs? Food for thought on this first week of what will surely be a long hot Summer.

As we approach Summer, it is worth remembering that many of us may become hot and irritated, but please do not let it get to you.

Do nothing Congress has kept their reputation intact as it controls the actions or better yet, government inaction.
The US Supreme Court is going on summer vacation at the end of the month. And so are many hard working Americans.

This Summer, keep cool & avoid getting dehydrated by drinking plenty of water. #sunsafety Only hours left before the Summer Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere. #Summertime

Cutting Medicaid will harm children, local communities, as well as state budgets

In 2015, Medicaid paid for nearly $4 billion in school-based health care services, including both special education and EPSDT services provided outside of special education. (See Below) By comparison, schools received about $12 billion in federal IDEA funding in 2015.
