Every now and then local institutions score some decent personnel coups, if you will, and Trine University has to count itself among the fortunate this fall.
A couple of guys have found their way to the hallowed halls at Trine, and you can sort of say they come from similar backgrounds, just from opposite sides of the media fence.
Internet Use Addiction is now classified as a mental disorder in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Health Disorders (DSM-V). People in society today have become so reliant on the internet that this should come as no surprise. However, the questions on the minds of many are how to know if you are addicted and how this addiction would be treated.

A Chinese-owned windmill firm in the US has filed a law suit against President Barack Obama for blocking a wind farm deal the administration says is as a result of national security grounds.
Ralls Corp, a private firm, acquired four wind farm projects near a US naval facility in Oregon earlier this year. However, President Obama signed the order blocking the deal last week. The lawsuit alleges the US government overstepped its authority. This is the first foreign investment project to be blocked in the US for 22 years.
U.S. births have fallen for the fourth year in a row, according to government officials who are calling it more proof that the weak economy is connected to having children.
The drop in 2011 was only 1 percent, which was not as sharp a fall-off as the 2 to 3 percent drop seen in previous years.
Most striking in the new report were steep declines in Hispanic birth rates and a new low in teen births. Hispanics have been disproportionately affected by the flagging economy, experts say, and teen birth rates have been falling for 20 years.

It is Superbowl, World Series, Stanley Cup, Olympics and a whole lot more for US Politics as the major US presidential candidates, Democrat and President Barack Obama and Republican Governor Mitt Romney, will finally hold their first campaign debate on Wednesday evening @9P in Denver, Colorado.
One of the first political debates in the U.S. took place in Illinois, in 1858. Senatorial candidates Abraham Lincoln and Stephen Douglas argued over slavery. Lincoln lost the race but went on to win the presidency two years later. Ten thousand people watched the debate.
