Following an unarmed Bronx teen being fatally shot by NYPD after being chased into the family home, Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz says enough is enough. “We have a problem, not just in the Bronx but across the City. In the past week we have seen a well-publicized video documenting apparent police brutality, the attempted murder of a police officer in Brooklyn, and, this afternoon, a young, unarmed man saw his life end by a police officer’s bullet."

US NEEDS INMIGRATION

Submitted by ub on

Whenever asked what I am - I'm a citizen of The United States of America.

My father's mother: From Italy. My father's father: From Spain. My mother's mother was from Cuba. My Mother's father came from France.

So when I hear all this negative talk about immigration, and frankly, I do not think it’s very healthy for our country, because this country has been good to me and also to so many others.

I believe that diversity is and will always be brilliant for US... it sets US apart from many other nations as being a country who assimilates people from all over the world.
