Can anyone recall a US President ever addressing a Joint Session of Congress at a more perilous time? Has the past year been a great roadmap to make America great? Have all US taxpayers been served by a self-described stable genius who really works for every one of us? Has he set a good example for all the children?

With dismal approval numbers, the pressure of the Russia investigation will @POTUS look to a reset button with his first State of the Union address, arguing that his tax cut and economic policies will translate to peace justice and prosperity for all?

For the first time, The Grammy Awards will feature hip-hop and R&B domination of nominations.

The event is the highest honors for the recording industry and has been a lightning rod for criticism. Safe bets triumph over edgy up-and-comers and less-commercial, females don’t get their due.

Tonight's show on CBS from NYC may finally right some wrongs. The Grammys at 7:30P Will the show that normally ignores the ladies have a #MeToo moment? A recent study found that of the 899 nominees for the last six ceremonies, only 9 percent were women.

Russian Corruption

Alexei Anatolievich Navalny is a Russian attorney a, political and financial activist and a leader in the Russian opposition against Vladimir Putin who continues to gain prominence among Russian citizens.

Navalny is a thorn in Putin's posterior and he's finally gotten to Vladimir's interior because Putin's tight inner circle has never been challenged like this before. Now, this outspoken Russian leader has been arrested in an attempt to silence the opposition's popularity.

José Martí Birthday

Happy birthday, José Julián Martí Pérez. He was born on January 28, 1853, and died on May 19, 1895. Martí was short, stood 5 feet 6 inches, and weighed about 140 pounds. He died young, fewer years than I have been blessed to celebrate, but no one has impacted our America more than Martí.

If it was easy to create the conditions for America’s resurgence all Presidents would be admired like Ronald Reagan. A @potus prediction that America would soon be seeing a quarterly economic growth of percent has fallen short like many others. Listen to the speeches and ask yourself whose message is most enduring?

Trump has suggested ways to compromise with the opposition. And there haven’t been any cringe-worthy tweets for at least a few days. Does this mean he is improving or is he too old for that?
