Loving humans have been fighting with each other and hurting one another for thousands of years and it has to stop. Too many humans act like savages, or is it that the life of mankind is destined to be a nasty fight?

Anthropologists have argued that organized warfare didn't come about until political hierarchies rose to power. They say war emerged after the agricultural revolution, when fat cats owned more resources than needed, and they felt it was worth fighting for.

They live in California and I in New York, where I work as a college professor and teach approximately 100, 20 year old students each semester. But I often think about what it would be like if I was living closer to my grandkids.
