We are blessed to know and love them. Wives, daughters and so many good friends.

Millions of working women face difficult life circumstances. Some are single mothers; many struggle to find any job; others support husbands who cannot find jobs. Many cope with a work life in which good day care is either unavailable or very expensive; school schedules do not match work schedules; and schools themselves are failing to educate their children.

A series of storm systems will bring major impacts to the Western, Central, and Southern U.S this week. Heavy rainfall and severe weather are expected with localized rainfall amounts exceeding one foot will be possible. The heavy rainfall could lead to flooding of rivers and urban areas.

Tornadoes, lightning, floods, rip currents and early season heat - Spring is three months of danger that can imperil the unprepared. It roars in like a lion, rampaging across the United States throughout March, April and May. And there’s one hazard that can strike the coasts at any time: tsunamis.

94 year old Nancy Reagan has died. Nancy Davis Reagan was an actress and the wife of Ronald Reagan, the 40th President of the United States. She was the First Lady of the United States from 1981 to 1989.

Nancy Reagan made 11 movies, the last, "Hellcats of the Navy" (1956) opposite her husband.
She was born in New York City.

Cosmic Distance Record

NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope was pressed to its limits by an international team of astronomers and they shattered the cosmic distance record by measuring the farthest galaxy ever seen in the universe.

This surprisingly bright infant galaxy, named GN-z11, is seen as it was 13.4 billion years in the past, just 400 million years after the Big Bang. GN-z11 is located in the direction of the constellation of Ursa Major.
