They are hoping the accord will end years of economic sanctions and decades of international isolation. Some say its a positiove more, while others are calling it major blunder. Planet Pluto's largest moon is said to have as an individual personality of its own. At about half the size of Pluto, it isn't really fair that Charon has to take a back seat to the dwarf planet that it nominally orbits. The two bodies actually form a binary planet system, orbiting around a common center of mass.

NYC beach-goers may enjoy the slate of performers that will take part in the 2015 Bronx Summer Concert Series at Orchard Beach. also known as The Bronx Riviera.

The Bronx Summer Concert Series at Orchard Beach kicks off TODAY, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., with Salsa legend Domingo Quinones.

The concert series is sponsored this year by Optimum, Macy’s, BronxCare, Latino Sports Ventures, the National Jazz Museum in Harlem, and NYC taxpayers.

This year’s concert series lineup, who will perform next to the Orchard Beach boardwalk at the main stage by Section 9, will feature acts such as:

TODAY was the greatest day for a Ticker-tape Parade and NYC was definitely the place to be for everyone to see how the crossroads of the world welcomed our American sports heroes.

The Canyon of Heroes, a stretch of Broadway where the nation's largest city has always honored its legends, came to life today. Thanks to NYPD officers who were assigned to guarantee the public's safety. Then the NYC Sanitation crews to pick out the confetti and paper streams.

CONFEDERATE FLAG GOES DOWN

South Carolina officials say the flag will come down today with dignity and placed inside a museum, where it now belongs.

The flag will be lowered from the 30-foot flagpole outside the state Capitol at 10A today, and moved to the Confederate Relic Room in the State Museum, down the road from the Capitol.
