SERIOUSLY?

Embracing our lifestyle, setting boundaries, pursuing passions, seeking solitude, expressing feelings, prioritizing health, and being unapologetically ourselves are all elements that contribute to our authenticity and self-respect.

It is about living a life that feels true to who we are, not just existing, but truly living without the burden of unwarranted apologies.

Remember, every stage of life has its own beauty and challenges. So let’s honor our journey and celebrate our wisdom without any apologies.

It’s not just about growing old, but also grow whole. And there’s absolutely nothing to apologize for about that.

Leaving Mi Ami, Mi old friend. Miami’s proximity to the tropics can make it feel boiling hot, especially for those not accustomed to the high humidity levels. Miami’s strong summer sun paired with the humidity can send temperatures over 110 on the hottest afternoons of the year. I spent years living on the East Coast the Midwest, and West Coast before realizing my ideal home is in
City Island - A Slice of NYC Paradise.

I remember when America regularly tuned in on TV once a week to laugh with Lucy. I have non-stop live Yirong and cannot get enough.

My mother used to say - Your father loves me and Angele Landsburry. I love Lucille Ball and my wife.. Many years later, from the moment I admired watching and listening to her playing music on Broadway until today, I have been blessed every day. Here she is after teaching my daughter and granddaughter the art of homemade dumplings.

There are over 700 events planned so far on No Kings Day. As the president defies courts, ignores the Constitution and punishes dissenters, all while he and his friends get even richer, June 14 may become largest and most widespread day of protest yet.

BULWORTH 25

Newark, New Jersey, Mayor Ras Baraka summons the ghost of "Bulworth." I worked and appeared in this film way back when.

It captures a powerful intersection of personal memory, political history, and cultural symbolism. What emerges is not just a meditation on Mayor Ras Baraka’s current leadership, but a deeper examination of political lineage, cinematic legacy, and generational ideals.

MOTTO

Submitted by ub on

I breathe in courage, confidence, personal power, and compassion.
I breathe out fear, tension, anxiety, anger, and stress.

Love all. Trust a few. Do wrong to no one.

I keep my attention in the present moment.
This day, this breath, this is my life.

I live not for where I labor, but who I work with.
People matter most.
Life is nothing without the ones I care about.

I choose to live each day as if it were my last.
If today were all I had, I would ask:

What truly matters right now?

Who needs my love?

What can I release from yesterday?

I celebrate small wins. Every day matters.
Mistakes are teachers—I don’t waste them.
Obstacles become opportunities.
Comfort zones are meant to be stretched.

I live life on my terms, in alignment with my deepest values.
The meaning of my life is what I make of it.

I do not seek validation from others—I already have what it takes.
My body has carried me this far. I treat it with respect and gratitude.

I show kindness, even in difficulty.
I listen like I wish others would.
I give compassion, even if it’s not returned.
I surround myself with those who see the best in me, and I return the favor.

We either win or learn.
We are all works in progress.
We cannot save others, but we can offer them respect and consideration.

Time waits for no one.
Every new day is a chance to begin again.
