To eat well, you need to combine nutritional science, a jolt of common sense, and pure enjoyment. Most of us know that fresh salad, berries, and slowing down when eating are better for us than wolfing down energy bars and sweets. But how to make that leap from our current habits to healthier ones?

The citizens of these United States of America and especially New Yorkers should be extremely proud of the way or athletes represented us during the 2012 London Olympics. Yes, NYC lost the opportunity to host these games, but we have to handed to team USA for the way they competed like champs.

Team USA took the top spot in the medals race for the fifth consecutive Summer Olympics, winning 104 medals to China's 87. The Americans also topped the gold medal count, 46-38.

Gipson is a native New Yorker, born and bred in the greatest city in the world and lives on City Island with his family. David began taking an interest in photography while in school. A camera given to him by his dad as a teenager, he started his obsession with taking pictures.
