The NYC Parks Dept blatantly lied to the community regarding its plans for the Putnam Trail project in the Bronx. It makes those who stand by and allow these lies to continue complicit in the lies.

The NYC Parks Dept told the community that:

1. A stone dust Putnam Trail would NOT be wheelchair accessible or meet the requirements of the American with Disabilities Act.
This statement is completely false. A stone dust trail totally adheres to ADA guidelines and is wheelchair accessible

All concerts are free and open to the public and air on “Good Morning America” Fridays between 7 and 9 a.m. The park opens at 6 a.m., with the 72nd Street and Fifth Avenue the closest option to Rumsey Playfield.

Severe Weather Warnings

The National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center has expanded the Moderate Risk for severe weather slightly south. The main threat will be from widespread, damaging winds. The is also a chance for tornadoes from Northeast Pennsylvania into Southern New England.

Severe thunderstorms expected to batter much of the northeastern U.S., including New York. These dangerous weather risks includes thunderstorms, hail and possibly tornadoes across an area that stretches from Indiana all the way to New England.
