Turns out that the new restaurant that is scheduled to open up on City Island is a partnership between Paul, the Albanian owner of The Lighthouse and Jimmy, the Puerto Rican former owner of Jimmy's Cafe and current owner of two other Don Coqui restaurants.

City Island Images visited with these individuals today and they told cimages.me that they've also teamed up with the former owner of Lido Restaurant. However, they say that unfortunate operational issues have now delayed their grand opening.

With Obama's ratings close to an all-time low, the president should try to make this State of the Union speech a total game-changer, but he's probably going to be low-key.

Is it a solid and unified state or more like the state of disunion? There is little President Barack Obama can do to help the Democrats this year. He appears to be less popular and his value on the campaign trail has been severely limited, especially in the places that matter most for Democrats.

The interactive world is constantly changing, and the number of different devices that connect it all is growing every year. City Island Images does not publish 10 times a year, or once a week. We publish news and information content 24/7

The issues that arise is that there are no rules for this 24/7 multimedia service. As content organizations create new products with different systems and media technology, it’s inevitable that we’ll have to come up with creative ways to adapt for our audience.

Some of the most popular musicians representing many generations, from Bruno Mars to Katy Perry to Paul McCartney and Ringo to Taylor Swift received their industry's highest recognition.

For the rest of us, it's an opportunity to see and hear some of our favorite stars. But other than live performances, what music do we listen to? Gone are the simple days of the Victrola, the home stereo system, and the Walkman. With the demise of record stores and the advent of digital sound, music fans have a dizzying array of choices as to where they get their music and how they listen to it.

The cold war era may be a thing of the past, but the cold weather refuses to go away. Winter ends on March 19 and as far as most people are concerned, they wish it would end right now.

Some folks who are not very religious, or spiritual are praying for this God forsaken record-low temperatures to finally end. Soon others will be dealing with more snow and much colder temperatures. Forecasters say the "polar vortex" that's bringing the frigid air may decide to stay a while. This news has lots of people struggling.

I got a message for an old HS buddy who reminded me that it is time for our class reunion.

Planning a reunion is not easy, however there's critical information needed to keep our QPHS graduates on track and on budget so that we will have the best reunion possible.

Please, respond if you're interested and have suggestions on....

• Best ways to find our old classmates

• Things to do with QP high school to help plan the reunion

• Great ideas and creating a buzz for increasing attendance at the reunion

• Ideas for any awards at the reunion?
