100 year old PACE University’s undergraduate online degree programs have been designated as the top of a first-ever US News & World Report rankings of “Top On-line Education Programs.”

PACE offers a wide variety of online courses, which were evaluated because their content is “ 80 percent accessible to students online,” according to US News & World.

Over the years, PACE has managed to educate and prepare many proud professionals by providing them with high quality academic programs on a firm base of liberal learning with the advantages of being in and around the city New York.

Do you recall ever watching TV's UNFORGETTABLE on Channel 2?
Unforgettable was prviously titled The Rememberer. It is an American crime mystery television series, which premiered on CBS on September 20, 2011.

Tomorrow is the last day their production crews will be shooting in and around City Island. They have used Burck's Marine Supplies, as well as the marina directly across the street on City Island.

Two years after an earthquake flattened Haiti, the country’s children are slowly experiencing improvements in their living standards despite continuing challenges, a United Nations report announced today.

According to the study, there has been healing and progress for children in the areas of education, health, nutrition and child protection.

Tomorrow, Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. will join Deputy Borough President Aurelia Greene, the Bronx Overall Economic Development Corporation (BOEDC), NYSERDA, and environmental group Sustainable South Bronx will launch the Green Jobs/Green New York Bronx Outreach Program (GJ/GNY-Bronx).

The goal of the GJGNY-BX Program is to reduce energy usage in Bronx buildings and lower energy costs for Bronx home and building owners.

Lexington Avenue Line Changes

NYC Subway strap-hangers on Lexington Avenue subway lines, which is the busiest in North America, may be forced to make alternate travel arrangements for the next four nights starting today as the MTA suts down it's service for repairs.

Stations along the 4, 5 and 6 subway lines all the way from 42nd Street in Manhattan to Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn will shut from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. According to transit officials, their workers will inspect, repair and clean tracks, signal systems along with the roadbed.

Geek week started in Las Vegas today, the time for all electronics makers except Apple, which is the only brand that doesn’t take part in this annual gadget show.

This year the “ultrabook” is the new tablet and the “Smart” TV is the new 3D. Windows is hoping it will be the newAndroid.

This is the last year Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer will deliver as the keynote, and it’s a crucial one for the software giant to find traction with its Windows and its Nokia partnership. The popularity of this show appears to be dwindling.

How far is NYC's Nautical Community?

If the Earth were flat, we could find the distance between any two points using the Pythagorean theorem. It would just be the square root of (latitude1 - latitude2)^2 + (longitude1 - longitude2)^2. However, since the Earth is not flat, a more complex formula is needed. If the two points are close to each other, the above formula will be very close to correct, but if they are distant, it will not.
