Allow me to begin by saying that I worked for President HW Bush and it appears to me that he would be shocked by the following.

I am not a #Republican, I have no political affiliation but in terms of the Bush #GOP dynasty and the expanded family tree, George P. Bush is the son of former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, the nephew of former President George W. Bush, and the grandson of my former boss US president George H.W. Bush, and the great grandson of Senator Prescott Bush.

Americans are getting gaslighted by Republicans on voting legislation and #WeThePeople need to wake up and smell that treason.

The real steal may be where The Grand Old Party plans to be in a couple of years if #USA Democracy evolves into #GOP fascism and we lose our liberty. The American people must never give Hate and Fascism a safe harbor.

Unfortunately, the average American voter has limited Russian knowledge. They may have watched Ivan Drago Иван Драго who was a fictional character that first appeared in the 1985 film Rocky IV, in which he was Rocky Balboa's boxing rival.

American politicians aren’t playing an even ball field. The US Senate is the only game in the world where 59 to 1 and the majority loses.

The 2021 World Press Freedom Index compiled by Reporters Without Borders #RSF shows that journalism, the main vaccine against disinformation, is completely or partly blocked in 73 percent of the 180 countries ranked by the organization.

The Trump Organization is under criminal investigation and a political pig fry may be in store for Congress. At the same time, Republican House minority leader Kevin McCarthy does not want a formal investigation into the January 6 Sedition.

He has skin in the game and a personal stake in not having to testify to such a commission under oath about his phone calls on 1/6/21 with The White House about Trump’s subsequent efforts to get their stories straight.

As a former VOA Division Chief, I am proud to introduce those of you who may not know him to Maestro Willis Clark Conover, Jr.

He was a jazz producer and broadcaster on the Voice of America for over forty years. He produced jazz concerts at the White House, the Newport Jazz Festival, and for movies and television.

Todsy is his anniversary. May 17 marks the 25th anniversary of the death of Willis Conover, the Voice of America broadcaster who helped popularize American jazz worldwide.
